About the Line
The lightning bolt follows the shape of a portion of Kanye's song, "Stronger." The premise of the designs is that Kanye has been hit by a lightning bolt and as a result, is stronger and more powerful than ever before.
I was inspired to create this line when I noticed how lightning bolts formed a different shape depending on the object that they struck. It seemed that the shape personalized the bolt. So I wanted to create a personalized bolt. Many of the bolts looked like sound waves so I decided to actually create a bolt made of sound waves.
I recorded the song "Stronger" on Garageband to show the sound waves. I placed the image of the soundwaves in the Adobe Suite and traced the edge to produce what looked like a lightning bolt.
